Morning Max is a morning routine, productivity, and accountability application designed to help users build and complete morning routines, reduce distractions, and manage access to selected applications during their morning routine.

The information we collect depends on how you use Morning Max and which features you choose to use.

Passwords and authentication credentials may be processed through our authentication provider and are not intended to be stored by Morning Max in readable form.

2.2 Morning Routine and App Data

When you use Morning Max, we may process information you provide or generate through the Service, including:

  • Routine schedules

  • Alarm settings

  • Streaks

2.3 Proof Photos and Videos

Morning Max may allow you to require photo or video proof when completing certain habits.

If you choose to use this feature, photos or videos you capture as proof may be uploaded to and stored using our cloud infrastructure.

These photos and videos are used to provide the proof and accountability features you request.

You should not upload images or videos containing sensitive information or information about other people unless you have the right to do so.

Camera access is requested only where necessary to provide features that require the camera.

2.4 Screen Time and App-Blocking Information

Morning Max uses Apple-provided Screen Time and related frameworks and permissions to provide app-blocking and distraction-management functionality.

Depending on the permissions you grant and the functionality you use, Morning Max may process selections or identifiers necessary to determine which apps or categories should be restricted and when restrictions should apply.

We use this information to provide the app-blocking features you configure.

Morning Max does not use Screen Time information for third-party advertising.

2.5 Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase a Morning Max subscription through Apple, your payment is processed by Apple.

Morning Max does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information.

We may receive and process information relating to your purchase and subscription, such as:

  • Subscription status

  • Product or subscription purchased

  • Purchase history

  • Transaction or receipt information

  • Trial status

  • Renewal or expiration status

  • Entitlement status

  • Anonymous or account-linked purchase identifiers

We use this information to provide paid features, verify purchases, manage subscription access, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and understand subscription performance.

2.6 Device and Technical Information

When you use Morning Max, we and our service providers may automatically process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

We do not currently use personal information collected through Morning Max to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising.

4. Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate Morning Max.

These providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to provide their services.

Supabase

We use Supabase for backend infrastructure, which may include database services, authentication, storage, and related backend functionality.

Information stored through Supabase may include account information, Morning Max application data, and proof photos or videos where applicable.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to help manage and verify in-app subscriptions, purchase status, and premium entitlements.

RevenueCat may process technical information, transaction information, Apple receipt information, purchase history, app-user identifiers, and related subscription information.

Superwall

We use Superwall to provide and manage subscription paywalls and related purchase experiences.

Superwall may process information necessary to display paywalls, manage subscription-related interactions, and support purchase functionality.

Apple

Apple provides the App Store, in-app purchase infrastructure, Screen Time-related frameworks, and other iOS services Morning Max relies upon.

Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy practices.

We require service providers processing personal information on our behalf to handle information in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.

5. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Additional Providers

We may use analytics, diagnostics, security, attribution, and similar service providers to help us understand how Morning Max is used, identify technical problems, improve performance, protect the Service, and measure the effectiveness of our services and marketing.

Depending on the services we implement, these providers may process information such as app interactions, device information, identifiers, technical information, diagnostic information, and usage information.

Where a service requires additional consent or permission — including permission for tracking as defined by applicable platform rules — we will request such permission where required.

Morning Max provides, or will provide before public App Store release, a method within the app to initiate deletion of your account.

When your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account that we are not legally required or otherwise permitted to retain.

This may include:

  • Account information

  • Morning routines

  • Habits

  • Routine history

  • Progress information

  • Stored proof photos and videos

  • Other user-generated information associated with the account

Some limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Deleting your Morning Max account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Subscriptions are managed through Apple and should be cancelled separately through your Apple account.

  • Update certain account information

  • Change Morning Max settings

  • Change camera permissions through iOS

  • Change applicable Screen Time permissions through iOS

  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple

  • Request deletion of your Morning Max account

  • Contact us regarding privacy questions or requests

Certain permissions may be necessary for particular Morning Max features to work. If you disable a permission, the related feature may become unavailable.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and device.

Morning Max is not directed to children under the age of 13.
